Newly opened and proud to serve the lkae community, Lake Tavern offers fresh, summer salads, great burgers, and light fare, as well as refreshing drink with great specials.

Located at the old Northwood Inn, this newly renovated restuarant is tucked away on a quiet cove in Sussex county, right on Lake Hopatcong. This area not only has a long history but is known for it's summer entertainment as well.

You can cruise in by land, or if you prefer, by water, to enjoy this fine, light, summer cuisine. With plenty of outdoor seating and plenty of open dock space for visitors, the new Lake Tavern will surely be a favorite among the boating crowd.

Be sure to step into the lounge to absorb the cozy, lake front atmosphere and see why the Lake Tavern is fast becoming a part of the area tradition!

DIRECTIONS!

From Route 80:
Exit 34B onto Route 15 N towards Jefferson/Sparta.
Exit onto NJ-181 N towards Lake Forest/Woodport
Make a right to stay on Rt 181 N
Turn left onto Prospect Point Road
Take the 1st right onto Northwood Road
Lake Tavern is on the left hand side, about .5 mile down.

From Route 206:
Take Co Rd 607/Lackawanna Dr
Turn right to stay on Co Rd 607/Lackawanna Dr
Turn left onto Co Rd 609/Indian Trail Rd (in front of the fire station)
Continue to follow Indian Trail Rd until it turns into Northwood Rd
Lake Tavern will be on the right

From Sparta:
Take Route 181 South/Woodport Rd
Stay right to continue on 181 S
Make a right onto Prospect Point Rd
Take the 1st right onto Northwood Rd
Lake Tavern is on the left hand side, about .5 mile down.
